I would like to rant over the empty lots across the street from St. John Fisher church. Before it was an eye sore of old run down houses that we had to look at.
Now that one of our Village Councilmen bought and tore down those old houses.
now we get to look at over grown weeds and tall grasses. Oh and the dirt ramps that the kids jump with their dirt bikes. You would think that our councilmen would
have built something there by now. And the Village of Newtown would be getting property taxes from the new owners. At least he could fill in and level it out and plant grass so it looks nice. As you know he dose own a Landscaping company.
Just something that bugs me.

If I was a rich money grubbing jerk I would buy some houses in a nice neighborhood, tear them down leaving a barren wasteland to force down the values of the surrounding homes. Then I'd buy those houses and tear them down and keep repeating the process until I had the whole area which I could strip of trees and topsoil and then sell the land for big bucks to one of my rich builder pals so he could put up a subdivision of McMansions.
Yep, that's what I'd do if I was a rich money grubbing jerk.
